Oil of Preparation

In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going away to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am. John 14:2

The Bible tells us that Jesus is going to prepare a place for us and our Father in Heaven has many rooms prepared for us.

But, what exactly have WE done to PREPARE a place for Jesus in our own lives?

What preparations are you making or have already made?

Have you emptied out all the unnecessary baggage from your past?

Many of us are burdened with sorrows or trauma from the past. We grow up often burying those complicated emotions into compartmentalized memory holes in our own consciousness.

In order to Make more room for Jesus and live in Reality and Truth, we need to clean out the past. Open those locked doors and sweep out any shame you may have hidden to protect yourself.

God is the Father we all dream of. He will Never leave us nor Forsake us. He will turn all our shame into sturdy soles for our feet, strengthening our endurance for the journey ahead. He turns those dark, locked closets of our soul into brightly lit storerooms of His Love and Mercy.

Be Strong and courageous; do not be afraid or terrified of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6

He truly is an Amazing God!

He takes what is most broken in us and turns us into His best work, for His purposes. His Love is The Transformative Power that can immediately flip the switch and Light up our lives! His Light never dims when we keep Him in our gaze. The enemy can’t enter into His Light. Jesus’ Light is Truth! Seek Him daily in spirit and in truth...

Make your Final Preparations and be sure your vessel is clean so all the nooks and crannies of your past are free of the cobwebs that the enemy weaves in your life. Let His Light so shine that there are no locked doors within.

May the oil of preparation flow through your life in such a way that you are overflowing with the Holy Spirit and His never-ending supply of Grace and Love.

We are under Grace at the moment but one day the Bridegroom will come and the door will be shut. Those who are not in the business of preparing, laying up treasures in heaven, and serving the Holy Spirit will be locked out...
