LASH UP!

Some people LASH OUT when they are troubled or life knocks them down, a few too many times.

Some people LASH IN instead; they project all their frustrations inward.

Neither scenario is healthy nor fluctuating between the two. We need BALANCE and Spiritual Health is the Fulcrum that keeps us in Harmony with God.

When life comes at us, we instinctively throw up a Force Field, a Boundary to Protect our most Sensitive parts. We LASH OUT to Fight or LASH IN to Guard ourselves.

Going through life this way leads to the physical manifestations of chronic stress and/or trauma in our bodies. By not absorbing the hit, processing it as it happens and releasing it to God so we can Heal; the LASHING keeps the energy trapped within our physical body. It oozes emotional pain out, in the form of physical disease and mental weariness.

Our Spiritual Health becomes disconnected from our Spiritual Vessel!

The Solution, the most obvious Prescription, is to go to the Creator of our body's system and ask what to do!

God is the Great Physician, and we can Truly Trust Him.

He wants to Bless us and Heal us, not drain us of provision.

I was a LASH IN type of person.

For years, LASHING IN manifested its effects between anorexia, bulimia, and semi-functionality. There were other issues too, but God created me to be different than what I was in order to survive. I just couldn't see clearly through the Lens of Shame I was viewing my life.

God doesn't waste anything!

He uses it all to create who we become when we are willing, so now, I'm able to look back, in gratitude, that He Walked With me through it all...

I may have LASHED IN and prolonged the hurt and kept it hidden, but the experience gave me a profound sense of Discernment and a well-developed Reliance on the Holy Spirit. I wouldn't be here without Him.

LASHING OUT is also a survival strategy for trauma and sustained dysfunction. It's just more noticeable because the effects are more obvious and unacceptable. LASHING IN keeps it all buttoned down, proper and in the form of pain and disease that can be used to build up the economy. A false sense of dignity sets in because it looks so acceptable.

Both create a High-Risk for drug, food, and sex addiction and other behavioral patterns of coping with trauma. Healing from Trauma is on a Spectrum, just as the trauma is. We are all touched by it on some level and how we respond changes everything.

When I was Delivered from Dependence on Prescription Opioids and all the other drugs I was prescribed, I finally learned to LASH UP!

My arms literally went UP!

My spirit was lifted UP!

My Gaze is always Focused UP!

My entire being was Lightened and Elevated!

Now, I don't lash out or in; I LASH UP and reach for my Father in Heaven.

He Sees me and I can always feel His warm embrace when my arms LASH UP in Worship to Him.

Worship is the Battle Cry!

It breaks down the enemy's Strongholds...

LASH UP in Worship the next time life hits you sideways.

The Father's arms are always right there; open and ready to receive you...
