When did all this Heartbreak start? Where did it Begin?

Long ago, in a closet, trapped by others' Sin.

What happened there, was not her Blame.

A little girl forced, to wear their Shame.

Lies were told to tell a Tall Tale.

Illusions meant to create a Dark Veil.

A Yarn was spun, to weave a Great Coat.

Not of Many Colors, but the Skin of a Goat.

Pieced together with that Yarn made of Lies.

Her innocence was stolen, she believed their Guise.

Wearing it proudly, she well played her Part.

It was the only way she could remain, in their Heart.

The Goatskin burned, by the Fires of God.

Revealing to her, their abject Fraud.

Under it all, created by the Father of Time.

She realized her worth, hidden by their Crime.

As the Flames of Adversity, burned the Veil away.

She finally realized, why they had to Betray.

Their Goal for her, was to remain the One.

To wear their shame, so only she would be Shun.

Where is that little girl now? How does this End?

She’s on her knees, unwilling to Pretend.

Filled with Boldness, she staked her Claim.

Fanning the Wisdom, she Gained in the Flame.

She surrendered all Shame and sought to be Wise.

God filled her with Purpose, her spirit began to Rise.

He poured His Grace in and gave her a Start.

Filling the Void, she was able to finally Part.

No longer does she feel, it was she that was Flawed.

Each step that she takes, no longer a Plod.

Fear is dispelled, one rung at a Time.

As she climbs higher, away from all Grime.

On her Knees, she releases it all to Pray.

Never again, will she survive as just a Stray.

God knows the Truth, of all that was Done.

Making her a Scapegoat, with a Yarn of Lies that was Spun.

The Coat of a Goat no longer Exists.

Even if, their Lies, forever Persist.

It matters not, the Tales that were Told.

God created in her; a Heart made of Gold.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
