Our lives are like a canvas that God painted a beautiful picture upon, placed in the world for everyone to see but then painted over many times by others with different scenes and events. Some good, some bad, all with different colors…

And then Jesus comes, the Great Restorer of our soul, and He carefully lifts off the unwanted layers and begins to reveal a new and better Masterpiece. He removes all the little flecks and damage of unwanted areas on our canvas, revealing a new layer to “cure” or “air out” and adjust to being uncovered.

He removes the unwanted layers to reveal the Masterpiece that could only be achieved by the Blending of the layers and the Aging of the paint. The areas that aren’t removed are the colors of our lives that Blended together to reveal a Unique and hardened layer formed under the heavy pressure of being under all the other layers. Our canvas is transformed into a “one of a kind” Masterpiece that God is still working on and Jesus is still Restoring for His finished product.

Jesus takes this Masterpiece and places a beautiful Frame, created by His own Hands, around it. Once the Frame is applied, only the Master Restorer allows anyone to apply new paint.

He keeps the Masterpiece free of dirt and grime and takes great care to preserve the “scene” He wants people to see. He is the Gatekeeper and no one gets past the Master unless He allows it!
What a Great Comfort!

Whatever new “paint” is applied to the Masterpiece of our life, if Framed by Jesus, it is only to make the final picture even more beautiful in the end, even if it goes through a not so pretty phase…
ONCE JESUS FRAMES THE CANVAS OF YOUR LIFE YOU ARE PROTECTED AND PRESERVED!

No one can break the Frame but it can become damaged if it is neglected. If we don’t keep seeking the Master Restorer of our soul, Jesus, the dust, dirt and grime begin to build up and His signature becomes unrecognizable! The dust on our Bible is directly proportional to the dirt and grime on our lives. When we keep our Bible free of free of dust by continually Seeking Jesus, He Restores the Masterpiece with the Frame of His sacrifice and we are Preserved for His Glory...
